This was the HOGAST Powerday
Social Media Guru Lucas Hoffmann inspired a lot of HOGAST members at the Design Center Linz.

Yesterday the 20th HOGAST Powertag took place at the Design Center Linz. Divided into 4 blocks, the members learned from Lucas Hoffmann, a well-known social media expert, how to use Youtube, Instagram, Facebook & Co. as a gastronomer to significantly influence and advance their business success.

In the first block the status quo was raised, where each member looked at himself: "How present is my company already on the Social Web?" Then goals and target groups were defined that had to be achieved. In block two, various platforms were discussed, because not every platform is suitable for every company and must be loaded with content. Building a community is a complex project that requires a lot of time, energy and love, which was also the topic of the second block.

After a lunch break, in which the participants strengthened themselves and were able to visit the numerous exhibitors in the hall, the third block dealt with growth strategies and best practice examples. How do the others do it? What led to success in the competition and what was not so effective? In the fourth block, Lucas Hoffmann talked a little about the lessons learned from his social media marketing experience in recent years.

It was an all-round successful event, participants and exhibitors were satisfied, HOGAST did a great job, we'll be back!
