Kick-off event for the competition of the top apprentices
For the 12th time, Amuse Bouche organizes the apprentice competition

On 24.6. the organizing team of Amuse Bouche around Piroska Payer as well as representatives from the gastro media and the Viennese hotel industry gathered at the Imperial Riding School Renaissance Vienna Hotel. And that, in order to get to know the participants, who want to participate in the competition of the top apprentices.

The competition takes place for the 12th time this year, with one apprentice each from a Viennese hotel from the service sector and one from the kitchen forming a team. And it is exactly this team work that ultimately matters. How do they work together? What top performances do they inspire each other? They have to prove this to a jury of specialists.

On August 27, 17 teams will compete in a preliminary round. The expert jury - consisting of top experts in the catering and hotel industry - then selects 9 of them, which make it to the final on 15 October. And then it gets serious. Each team cooks and serves a 4-course final menu for 6 VIP guest jurors and the expert jury.

As many years before, we are back as a sponsor again and the young women and gentlemen are allowed to come to our shop and borrow dishes for the big event. We have plenty of choice in our branch in Triester Strasse well enough, as well as we provide expert advice and support in the choice.
